Osamu Umeyama ( Japanese 梅山 修 , Umeyama Osamu ; born August 16, 1973 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Umeyama learned to play soccer on the school team at Urawa Gakuin High School . He signed his first contract with NKK SC in 1992 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 18 games. In 1994 he moved to league competitor Fujieda Blux (today: Avispa Fukuoka). In 1995 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 86 games. In 1998 he moved to the second division Tokyo Gas (today: FC Tokyo). In 1999 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. In June 2000 he was loaned to the first division club Verdy Kawasaki . In 2001 he returned to FC Tokyo . For the club he completed 55 games. In 2002 he moved to the second division club Shonan Bellmare . For the club he completed 75 games. In 2004 he moved to the first division club Albirex Niigata . For the club, he completed 46 top division games. At the end of 2006 he ended his career as a football player.
