Oscar Albarado

Oscar Albarado (* 15. September 1948 in Pecos , Texas , USA ) is a retired American boxer in the light middleweight .

In June 1974 Albrado took the WBC and WBA world championship belts from the Japanese Kōichi Wajima with a classic knockout victory in round 15 and defended them on October 8 of the same year against Ryu Sorimachi with a technical knockout in the 7th Round. However, he lost the belt in his second title defense in the rematch against Kōichi Wajima by a unanimous decision of the judges.
