Oscar Chirimini (born March 28, 1917 in Uruguay, † April 3, 1961 ) was a Uruguayan football player .

Career

Offensive player Chirimini played at the club level at least in 1937, 1939, 1941 and 1942 for River Plate Montevideo . In 1942, 1943 and 1945 to 1947 he was in the Primera División in the squad of Club Atlético Peñarol . In the season 1945 the "Aurinegros" were Uruguayan champions.

National team

Chirimini was a member of the senior national team of Uruguay , for which he completed 20 international matches between January 6, 1937 and April 4, 1943. He scored three international goals. Chirimini was part of the Uruguayan squad at the South American Championships in 1937 , 1939 , 1941 and 1942 . At the 1942 tournament he won the title with Uruguay.
