The 1945 season of the Primera División was the 42nd season (the 14th of the professional era) of the Uruguayan top division in men's football , the Primera División .

The Primera División consisted of ten clubs in the championship season of 1945, whose teams met twice in a total of 90 championship games. There were 18 game days. The championship won the Club Atlético Peñarol as first table in front of Nacional Montevideo and Club Atlético Defensor as second and third in the season's final table . As the bottom of the table Sud América rose from the Primera División to the Segunda División . The top scorers were Nicolás Falero and Raúl Schiaffino with 21 goals each .
