The building of the Osh Theater

Osher State Academic Uzbek Musical-Dramatic Theater Babur ( Uzbek Бобур номидаги Ўш давлат академик ўзбек мусиқали драма театри , Russian Ошский музыкально-драматический театр имени Бабура ) is the oldest professional theater in Kyrgyzstan and the second oldest theater in Central Asia .

history

Under the direction of Rahmonberdi Madazimov, Baltychodzhoy Sultanov, along with teachers from the Russian native school of Osh, founded a theater company in 1914 . 1918 under the direction of Rahmonberdi Madazimova and with other teachers Osh district (Ibrohim Musaboevym, Beknazar Nazarov, Zhurahonom Zaynobiddinovym, Nazirhonom Kamolova, Abdurashidov Eshonhonovym and A.Saidovym) for the first time in Kyrgyzstan an amateur theater group from Revolutionary Military at the concert Brigade Turkestan founded with local Muslim actors. The first artistic director of the theater group was Madazimov Rahmonberdi, founder and organizer of the theater movement in Kyrgyzstan.

In 1919 the circle was expanded into a dramatic troupe. Later the artists Abdukodir Iskhokov, Isroilshon Ismoilov and Zhalil Sobitov joined. This troupe not only served the development of theatrical art , but also the development of professional music in the south of Kyrgyzstan. In addition to theater productions, the troupe's repertoire included numerous concert programs ; Folk songs were also used to accompany the performances, which contributed to the training of professional musicians. Later this troupe became the basis for the establishment of the Osh State Academic Uzbek Music and Drama Theater in Bobur. The Babur Theater in Osh is thus the oldest theater in Central Asia; it was named after the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater of Hamza in Tashkent (founded in 1913 - February 27, 1914).
