KK Ōshima Zōsenjo ( Japanese 株式会社 大 島 造船 所 , Kabushiki-gaisha ~ , German "Werft Ōshima", English Oshima Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. ) is a shipbuilding company in Saikai , Japan .

The shipyard was founded on February 7, 1973 in Ōshima (today part of Saikai ) by the Sumitomo group and the Osaka shipyard. It manufactures new ships, especially standard types of bulk carriers and other dry cargo ships, but also carries out conversions and repairs. Oshima is known for their standard bulk carrier designs, which are often mass-produced. The shipyard delivered the first ship in February 1975. The 50th ship was delivered in February 1983, the 100th in January 1990 and the 500th in January 2010.

In addition to shipbuilding, bridge, machine and steel construction are also carried out. The company also operates several hotels, grows tomatoes, produces spirits and brews beer.

The shipyard in Saikai is located on a 760,000 m² site and consists of four building docks with a total length of 534 m and numerous workshops. In addition to the headquarters in Saikai, there are branches in Tokyo, Osaka and Sasebo. Oshima also has offices in Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Hiroshima and Okinawa. 1340 people are employed (as of April 2017).
