Life
Blencke, son of a country doctor, was supposed to be a cook. But chose the profession of actor and made his debut in Stargard in 1867.
After hanging around on several small stages, he went to the Belle Alliance Theater in 1869, but only stayed there for a year. In 1872 he went to Görlitz and from there was committed to the Wallnertheater . In 1888 he moved to the Lessing Theater. There he was employed in the field of characteristics, earlier active in comedy and swaying. In 1891 he was appointed to the court theater that he had to leave in 1895 because of a throat problem.
He tried it for some time - unsuccessfully - as an innkeeper. He said goodbye from the stage as "Fischer" in Guten Morgen, Herr Fischer on the occasion of a charity performance on March 31, 1901. A few months later, on September 26, 1901, he died.
