Osmo Soininvaara
Osmo Soininvaara (born September 2, 1951 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish politician .
Soininvaara studied statistics at the University of Helsinki and then worked as a statistician. In 1985 he was elected to the Helsinki City Council for the Green Bund party. From 1987 to 2007 Soininvaara was a member of this party in the Finnish Parliament , from 2001 to 2005 he was party chairman. He was a member of the government cabinet of Paavo Lipponen from April 14, 2000 to April 19, 2002 as Minister of Health.
Soininvaara wrote several books. He is married and has three children.
