Ossi-Petteri Grönholm (born September 17, 1981 in Kotka ) is a Finnish ice hockey player who has been under contract with HPK Hämeenlinna in the SM-liiga since 2011 .

Career

Ossi-Petteri Grönholm began his career as a hockey player with the Pelicans Lahti , for which he played in the SM-liiga for a total of three years from 2001 to 2004 . The defender then moved to their league rivals SaiPa Lappeenranta , for whom he was active until 2008. In his last season at SaiPa he was also on the ice for Frölunda HC from the Swedish Elitserien . Before the 2008/09 season, Grönholm finally got a contract with the reigning Finnish champions Kärpät Oulu , with whom he took part in the group stage of the Champions Hockey League , in which the defender was used three times and with whom he was runner-up in the 2008/09 season -Became a master.

After a year and a half, Grönholm left Kärpät Oulu and joined the Brynäs IF from the Elitserien in January 2010 . The 2010/11 season he spent with the Malmö Redhawks from HockeyAllsvenskan , the second Swedish division. For the 2011/12 season he was committed by HPK Hämeenlinna from the SM-liiga.
