Ostertimke ( Low German Oostertimk ) is a district of the municipality of Kirchtimke in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony .
Geographical location
Ostertimke is located on the state road 133 one kilometer east of Kirchtimke and six kilometers southwest of Zeven .
The Bullensee nature reserve is located about a kilometer to the southeast .
history
For the year 1848 it is stated that Ostertimke had 24 residential buildings with 118 inhabitants. On December 1, 1910, the place had 208 inhabitants.
On March 1, 1974, the Ostertimke community was incorporated into Kirchtimke.
