It was built for the master carpenter Karl Klenk as an apartment building for workers' households according to the plans of the architect Hubmann from Heilbronn between 1913 and 1914. The window axes from the first and second floors of the three-story stone building are combined by a geometric, relief-like, pre-blinded facade decoration in sandstone.

In 1950 the half of the house at Oststrasse 25 belonged to Heinrich Metzger, a social pensioner. In addition to him, five tenants are named. The owner Rosa Pfaff ran a grocery store in the house half at Bruckmannstrasse 22; there were also four rental apartments there. In 1961, house no.25 was owned by the widow Sofie Metzger. In addition to her, five tenants are also named. The owner of No. 22, Rosa Pfaff, was meanwhile in the deaconess house in Schwäbisch Hall , Walter Lindner had taken over her grocery store. In addition, two tenants are named.
