Oswald Seewald

Oswald Seewald (born July 19, 1918 in Leoben ; † October 5, 1984 in Linz ) was an Austrian technician and from 1949 to 1954 member of the Upper Austrian state parliament .

Oswald Seewald was born on July 19, 1918 in Leoben; Little is known about his subsequent life. During the Second World War , Seewald was a member of the Sturmabteilung and was listed in issue 6 of the magazine SA in Feldgrau - Feldpostbriefe der SA-Gruppe Südmark in September 1940 as an excellent SA man of the Südmark group; at this time the member of the fighter squadron was a squad leader. In March / April 1942 Seewald's promotion to sergeant-major was announced. As early as May / June 1942, the promotion of the Oberscharfuhrer and Sergeant to Lieutenant was announced. After the Second World War, the engineer worked as a technician at the United Austrian Iron and Steel Works (VÖEST). Furthermore, he was employed in the regional building department of the Upper Austrian regional government. As one of ten party members, he made it into the Upper Austrian state parliament in 1949 with the electoral party of the Independent (WdU), which was founded in the same year . In this he was active in the 17th legislative period from November 5, 1949 to November 18, 1955.

The married father of four children died on October 5, 1984 at the age of 66 in Linz.
