biography

From his uncle, who recognized Otello's talent, he learned various instruments early on and performed in bars and restaurants at the age of 17. music

Musically Profazio belongs to the style of modern folk music, in which he is considered one of the most successful representatives in Italy. His pieces are particularly popular in Sicily and the Calabria region and are still often played today. In 1973 Profazio brought out Il Brigante Musolino - an album in homage to Giuseppe Musolino , the "Robin Hood" of Calabria in the 19th century.
