Otmar Bauer
Otmar Bauer (born January 9, 1945 in Schärding ; † October 17, 2004 in Petersbaumgarten ) was an Austrian action artist of Viennese actionism .
Otmar Bauer came from the student revolt to Viennese Actionism, where he met Otto Muehl , who made a name for himself in the early 1970s by founding a Reichian- inspired commune , the Action Analysis Organization (AAO).
At the end of the 80s Otmar Bauer broke away from Mühl and lived as a freelance artist partly in the Austrian Burgenland, partly on Santa Maria / Azores .
In 2004 Otmar Bauer published "1968 - autobiographical notes", in which he describes his path from his student days to the 1990s.
