Otra Salida is a hardcore band from Buenos Aires , Argentina , that has been active since 1990.

history

Otra Salida was founded in 1990. The band has appeared at numerous festivals in South America in the past, including Rock al Parque in Colombia in 2005, the Brutal Mosh Festival in Chile in 2018 and co-headlining alongside Minoría Activa at the Sin Barreras Hardcore Fest in Buenos Aires. In Argentina itself, the band often acted as the opening act for the South American tours of well-known American hardcore bands. Between 2007 and 2016 private engagements led to a slowdown in the band's activities.

style

Otra Salida are assigned to Buenos Aires Hardcore , a collective term for the hardcore scene in Buenos Aires, whose bands are musically based mostly on New York Hardcore . The Argentine metal magazine Metal Argento saw an increased use of metal elements in the 2016 album Otra Vez en el Infierno .
