Otto von Kleve (* around 1278; † October 29, 1310 in Horstmar ) was Count von Kleve from 1305 to 1310 .

Life

Otto was in 1278, the eldest son of Count Dietrich VI. von Kleve and his first wife Margarethe von Geldern, a daughter of Count Otto von Geldern . He has been mentioned as Young Count of Kleve since 1297 and finally succeeded his father, who died on October 4, 1305. He had to deal with the demands of his stepmother Margareta von Neu-Kyburg and his half-brothers Dietrich and Johann .
