Otto Licha (writer)

Otto Licha (born February 14, 1952 in Vienna ) is an Austrian teacher, writer and composer.

Live and act

Otto Licha has lived in Innsbruck since 1954. He completed his studies in physics and mathematics at the University of Innsbruck in 1979 with a doctorate . In addition, during his school days he completed an apprenticeship at the Conservatory of the City of Innsbruck with a major in violin. He was an assistant at the University of Innsbruck, later freelance and since 1992 has also been working as an AHS teacher in the subjects of his studies.

Licha is a writer as well as a lyricist and composer of numerous songs, for example for the Innsbruck music group "Süd". He also created several documentaries and film essays as well as the musical dubbing of silent films for "Austria in historical film recordings" of the Austrian Film Archive.

Otto Licha has been a member of the Graz Authors' Assembly since 2001.
