Otto Rössler (politician)

Otto Rössler (born January 8, 1904 in Hohensalza ; † April 25, 1978 in Hildesheim ; also: Gustav Otto Rössler von Wildenhain) was a German politician ( BHE ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After finishing elementary school, Otto Rössler attended an arts and crafts school, business school and higher business school. He completed a two-year apprenticeship as a businessman and attended a commercial college from 1923 to 1924. He also trained in folklore and art. From 1934 he worked as heraldry and crest painter in Kassel and was the Secret State Archives Prussian Cultural Heritage on the list of the German municipality day set of good arms makers. At the Berlin Reichsnährstand he worked as a consultant for peasant coats of arms. Since 1939 he worked for the Kassel police and received a leader's rank. At the commander of the Kassel police, he headed the social support staff. After the end of the Second World War and his release from American captivity, he worked again as a freelance heraldist.

From May 6, 1951 to May 5, 1955 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (2nd electoral period), since March 16, 1953 as a GB / BHE parliamentary group member, from January 23, 1955 non-attached.
