Otto Steneberg

Otto Steneberg (born September 14, 1862 in Lemgo ; † 1940 ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Otto Steneberg was a son of the Secret Upper Government Council and Consistorial President Albrecht Steneberg in Detmold. He attended high school in Lemgo, Detmold and Bückeburg and passed the Abitur in 1883. He then studied law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . At the same time he served as a one-year volunteer in the 7th Württemberg Infantry Regiment No. 125. In 1884 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Tübingen . After the legal traineeship (1886) and his doctorate, he entered the Lippe civil service. He completed his legal preparatory service in Bad Salzuflen and Detmold. In 1891 he became a government assessor in Brake near Lemgo. From 1896 to 1929 he served as official captain and later as district superintendent of administration or district office Blomberg . He was a secretary and senior councilor.
