Otto VII (Count Palatine of Bavaria)
Otto VII. († August 18, 1189 ) was Count Palatine of Bavaria.
Life
Otto VII was a son of Otto V von Scheyern and his wife Heilika von Lengenfeld . After his brother Otto was appointed Duke, he was Count Palatine of Bavaria from 1180 to 1189. He was married to Benedicta von Donauwörth, the daughter of Count Mangold von (Donau) wörth and Dillingen.
His son Otto VIII von Wittelsbach is notorious for his murder of the Roman-German King Philip of Swabia . With this, this sideline of the Wittelsbacher died out in the male line. His daughter Agnes married Count Albert III. from Everstein .
