Otto Weber (born May 8, 1898 in Vienna ; † September 13, 1969 there ) was an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ).

After graduating from high school, Weber held a managerial position at the Vienna Regional Health Insurance Fund. He was politically active from a young age and a member of the Social Democratic Party. Because of his political attitude, he was a thorn in the side of the Austrofascists under Federal Chancellor Kurt Schuschnigg during the Austrian Civil War and was therefore imprisoned several times. After Austria was annexed to the German Reich , he was drafted into the German army in 1939 . Shortly before the end of the war in April 1945, he was able to desert from the Perchtoldsdorf area and returned to Vienna. His home residential Aspern in Vienna's 22nd district was at this time already by the Red Army occupied . Shortly after his return in 1945, he founded the Socialist Party of Austria there. Otto Weber was considered a good organizer in the reconstruction of the 22nd district and was appointed district party chairman of the SPÖ Donaustadt by his party friends and a local councilor and member of the state parliament of the city of Vienna in the Viennese elections . He performed these functions from 1945 to 1954. Otto Weber was buried at the Vienna Central Cemetery . In recognition of his services, the City of Vienna named an alley in the area of ​​the Rügenau settlement in Aspern after him in his honor.
