Otto Wessely

Otto Wessely (born May 13, 1945 in Vienna ) is an Austrian magician .

Life

From 1963 to 1969 Wessely performed in the Vienna Prater . In 1973 he was committed to the Olympia in Paris for the first time . In 1985 he received a contract for several years in the famous cabaret "Crazy Horse" in Paris.

He frequently writes articles for the French magical magazine "Magicus" and since 2010 his column has been published under the title "Das harte Künstlerleben" in the German magical magical world magazine .

Otto Wessely has lived and worked with his wife in Paris since 1971.

Awards

  • 1971: The British-Ring-Shield, England
  • 1982: 1st Comedy Magic Prize, Lausanne FISM World Magic Championships
  • 2017: Award for life's work at the 41st International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo
  • 2019: Honorary Magica of the Magical Circle of Germany (MZvD) for the magical life's work.
