Aladdin
Aladin (from Arabic علاء الدين, DMG ʿAlāʾ ad-Dīn , in German "nobility / sublimity of faith") is the main character of the oriental-Chinese fairy tale Aladin and the magic lamp from the fairy tale from 1001 nights . Similar to Ali Baba and the Forty Robbers , it is now assumed that Aladin and the Magic Lamp were added to the story collection by the French translator Antoine Galland in the 18th century. Its source was the Maronite Christian Hanna Diab from Aleppo .
action
Aladin is a young man in China who is hired by a magician to find an oil lamp in a magical cave. After the wizard tries to deceive him, Aladdin keeps the lamp to himself. He discovers that there is a genie in the lamp that has to fulfill the wishes of the lamp owner. With the help of the helpful spirit, Aladdin becomes rich and powerful and marries the sultan's beautiful daughter.
