The Otway solid is a striking mainly ice-free and 3200 m high mountain solid with an area of approximately 112 square kilometers in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It looms at the confluence of the Mill Glacier and Mill Stream Glacier on the northwest end of the Grosvenor Mountains .
It was explored and named by the southern group of a campaign carried out from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition . It is named after Peter Miles Otway (* 1936), a participant in the expedition.
