The Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church is a Catholic church building in the Scottish city of Glasgow . In 1994 the structure was included in the Scottish List of Monuments in the highest monument category A.

The architectural office Gillespie Kidd & Coia is responsible for the design of the church building . The church was built in 1964 to 1,965 and received the Mary - patron saint Our Lady of Good Counsel . In 1966, the planners received the bronze medal of the Royal Institute of British Architects for their design .

Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church is on Craigpark Street in the northern Dennistoun district of Glasgow . The floor plan of the modern building describes a convex square . Its masonry is made of brown brick . On the main facade, which is exposed to the west, a wood-clad strip with window elements runs beneath the low-hanging roof. Portals are embedded on both sides, of which the right one is accessible via a staircase that was added later. The building closure is formed by two offset pent roofs with copper cladding. The east facade is largely designed in the same way as the west facade, but flatter.
