Out of Touch is a 1984 Hall & Oates song written by the band and produced in collaboration with Bob Clearmountain .

history

Out of Touch was released worldwide on September 29, 1984, from which time it became a number one hit in the United States and a top 20 hit in some countries like Germany .

The track is 4:07 minutes long and appeared on the album Big Bam Boom . In an interview, the band said that the chorus was by John Oates and the rest of the lyrics by Daryl Hall .

The song was also used in the game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City .
