Oxana Gennadjewna Fjodorowa ( Russian Оксана Геннадьевна Фёдорова ; born December 17, 1977 in Pskow , Soviet Union ) is a Russian television presenter .

biography

Fyodorova was raised by her mother, who worked as a nurse in a mental hospital, and by her maternal grandfather. She moved to Saint Petersburg to study and began working as a police investigator as a student. From 1999 she worked as a model and participated in beauty contests. After she won the Miss St. Petersburg title, she represented the city in the Miss Russia competition, which she won with first place. She represented Russia in the Miss Universe election in 2002 and won the international competition. As Miss Universe, she failed to meet her obligations and was stripped of the title four months after her election.

From 2003 to 2004 she hosted the Russian version of the Fort Boyard TV show . In 2006, she became a UNICEF - ambassador appointed. In 2008 and 2010 she moderated the competition for the choice of the representative of Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest and during these years also read out the results of Russia in the competition. She hosted the Russian national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009.

In 2010 she voiced a Barbie doll in the Russian translation of the film Toy Story 3 .

Music career

Fedorova began her musical career in 2009 with the release of the single Prava lyubov with Nikolay Baskov. Fedorova and Russian tenor Dmitry Galikhin released the official video of their Spanish duet Historia de un Amor in 2019 .
