The Jōetsu College of Education ( Japanese 上 越 教育 大学 , Jōetsu kyōiku daigaku ) is a state university in Japan . It was founded in 1978 and is located in Jōetsu , Niigata Prefecture . The abbreviation of the university is college (Japanese Jōkyōdai, 上 教 大).
