Pópulo
Pópulo is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Alijó . There were 278 residents in the community (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Pópulo and Ribalonga were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Pópulo e Ribalonga . Pópulo is the seat of this newly formed community.
At the Santuário da Nossa Senhora da Boa Morte, remains of a Castro.
