Póvoa de Santarém is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Santarém . The community had 708 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the communities of Póvoa de Santarém, Achete and Azoia de Baixo were merged to form the new community União das Freguesias de Achete, Azoia de Baixo e Póvoa de Santarém .
