Peach pit

Peach-Pit ( Japanese ピ ー チ ・ ピ ッ ト , Pīchi Pitto , also: も も の た ね , Momo no Tane , both German. "Peach core ") is the joint artist name of the two Japanese manga artists Shibuko Ebara and Banri Sendō, who have been at school are friends with each other. They drew dōjinshi (fan manga) before they could get into the professional field.

The name is an allusion to the pub "Peach Pit" in the American television series Beverly Hills, 90210 .

Shibuko Ebara ( え ば ら 渋 子 , Ebara Shibuko ) is responsible for the manga layout of all Peach Pit works and the drawings by Rozen Maiden . Banri Sendō ( 千 道 万里 , Sendō Banri ) is responsible for the stories of all works and for the drawings of DearS and Zombie Loan .

The mangas DearS , Rozen Maiden , Zombie-Loan and Shugo Chara! were all filmed as anime series. For Shugo Chara! they were awarded the Kōdansha Manga Prize in 2008 .
