Pablo Alberto Bengolea (born May 18, 1986 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine volleyball player .

Career

Bengolea began his volleyball career in 2000 in the youth team of Alsina Los Toldos . From 2003 to 2005 he played with CA San Lorenzo de Almagro in Buenos Aires . After a season with CA Vélez Sársfield , he moved on to Belgrano de Cordoba . There he was appointed to the Argentine national team for the first time in 2007 . A year later he went abroad to the Spanish club Tarragona SPSP. In the next two seasons he was in France for Narbonne Volley and AS Cannes . With Cannes he played in the Champions League . In 2011 he was the first South American to move to the German Bundesliga club Berlin Recycling Volleys , but separated from the Berliners again at the end of the year.
