Pablo César Velázquez Centurión (born March 12, 1987 in Asunción ) is a Paraguayan football player on the position of a striker .

Life

Velázquez began his professional career at his hometown club Libertad , where he was under contract between 2005 and 2013 and with which he was several times Paraguayan champion. In between he played on loan for Club Rubio Ñu and CA San Lorenzo de Almagro and possibly also for Club Puerto Montt (which questions the championship titles listed below in 2008) and was in the Apertura 2009 as a player for Rubio Ñu 16 goals top scorer in the Paraguayan League .

For the 2013/14 season he moved to the Mexican club Deportivo Toluca , where he was the top scorer in the Mexican league with twelve goals in his first half-season (Apertura 2013) .

On April 25, 2012 Velázquez made his debut for the Paraguayan national team in a friendly against Guatemala (1-0) .
