Pacheco pass

The Pacheco Pass is a mountain pass in the Diablo Range of California . It has a height of 417 m. The pass road is located in southeast Santa Clara County and connects the Santa Clara Valley with the Central Valley .

The name is derived from the ranch of Francisco Perez Pacheco (1793-1860). Right next door is the Pacheco State Park .
