The Pacific Coast Soccer League (PCSL) is a soccer league made up of teams from British Columbia, Canada and Washington, United States. The league is officially affiliated with the United States Adult Soccer Association , but is above it in the US and Canadian soccer pyramids. It is on a par with the USL Premier Development League and the National Premier Soccer League . American clubs can qualify for the US Open Cup through this league.

It is recognized by both the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) and the US Football Association USSF .

The season usually lasts from May to August.

history

The previous league was founded in 1930, and four teams played in it: Vancouver St. Andrews, Vancouver St. Saviors, New Westminster Royals and Nanaimo. The PCSL merged in 1973 with the Mainland Senior Soccer League and the Intercity Junior League to form the British Columbia Senior Soccer League . This league was later renamed the Vancouver Metro Soccer League .

The Pacific Coast Soccer League as it is today was created in 1995.
