Paech bread

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Paech-Brot was a company founded by the Berlin entrepreneur Eberhard Paech (1910–2000), a pioneer of industrial baking in Germany.

In 1986 Paech sold his company to the Wendeln large bakery , which has been part of Kamps since 2002 . The brand name Paech was continued until 1989.

The large Paech bread factory in Stephankiez in Berlin-Moabit (between Birkenstrasse and Stephanstrasse) was built in 1927 and closed in 1993; at the end of the 1990s, a small part was temporarily produced again. The demolition began in 2004, the chimney stood until 2008. A large shopping center has been located on the site since 2010, the bakery of the local supermarket again has the logo and name of Paech-Brot for reasons of tradition.

A bread factory in Schleswig-Holstein in Meddewade was founded as a branch in 1954 and finally closed in 2003.
