alfa PageOne XT is a standard desktop publishing system from alfa Media Partner GmbH that can be used for both simple and complex typesetting work. It can also be integrated into an overall system as a server solution, especially in the newspaper sector. The area of application ranges from commercial jobs to the production of newspaper pages and magazines to classic work set . PageOne XT runs on the client side on the Windows operating system , on the server side on Linux and some UNIX derivatives.
PageOne emerged from an earlier version of the Adobe FrameMaker product and can be operated in a very similar way.
