The Pain Firn Field is a firn field in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It lies between the Commonwealth Range and the Hughes Range . The Keltie Glacier flows from it in a south-westerly direction to the Beardmore Glacier .
It was named by the southern group of a campaign carried out from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition after Kevin Patrick Pain (≈1927–2015), a member of the expedition.
