PakTES 1A (Pakistan Technology Evaluation Satellite) is a technology testing and earth observation satellite of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan .

The 285 kg satellite was developed by the Pakistani Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO). The Tegu Imager , the satellite's camera, comes from the Space Advisory Company in Stellenbosch , South Africa . PakTES 1A was launched into a polar orbit from the Jiuquan Cosmodrome on July 9, 2018 at 03:56 UTC with a Chinese Long March 2C launch vehicle . The satellite is designed for a lifespan of three years.

Another satellite, PakTES 1B is under development.
