Pak Sin-hyok (born October 25, 1993 in Pyongyang ) is a North Korean table tennis player .

Career

Pak had his first international appearance at the China Open 2012. He then took part in the 2013 World Cup, where he met Marcos Freitas in the second round .

However, the game was lost 3: 4 after a 3-0 lead. At the Asian Games in 2014, he reached the quarter-finals both individually and with the team. In 2015 he secured silver in singles and gold in doubles at the Pyongyang Open, and at the world championships he reached the quarterfinals in doubles and mixed.

Further appearances followed in 2016 at the 2016 World Team, where the North Korean team reached the round of 16. At the Pyongyang Open 2017 Pak won gold in singles and doubles. In 2018 he was able to take part in the World Cup again with the team, but the team failed without a win in the preliminary round.
