Pakruojis (German, 18th century: Pockroy ) is a town and seat of the Rajongemeinde Pakruojis in northern Lithuania, in the Šiauliai district , 36 kilometers east of Šiauliai on the Kruoja , not far from the Šiauliai- Pasvalys road . In 2011 the city had 5,139 inhabitants.

There is a Church of St. John the Baptist (since 1887), a Pakruojis estate (since the end of the 16th century), a hospital, a cultural center, the post office (LT-83001), the Pakruojis district court and the district town hall .
The FK Kruoja Pakruojis is the most important football club in the city.
