Pala (German: Palla ) was an Estonian rural community in Jõgeva County with an area of 156.7 km².
Pala was in the east of the district and bordered on Lake Peipus . The municipality was about 50 km from Tartu and 190 km from Tallinn .
The rural community had 1302 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2010). In addition to the main town of Pala (248 inhabitants), it included the villages of Äteniidi, Assikvere, Haavakivi, Kadrina, Kirtsi, Kodavere , Kokanurga, Lümati, Metsanurga, Moku, Nõva, Pala, Perametsa, Piibumäe, Piirivarbe, Punikvere, Ranna, Raatvere, Sääritsa, Sõõru, Tagumaa and Vea.
