Palacio Chiarino

The Palacio Chiarino is a building in the Uruguayan capital Montevideo .

The building, erected around 1928, is located in the Barrio Centro in Avenida 18 de Julio 1117-1121 on Plaza Cagancha and is in the style of historical eclecticism based on French revolutionary architecture . Antonio Chiarino and Bartolomé Triay were responsible as architects . Originally designed as a residential and commercial building, it now houses a bank in addition to residential apartments. The Palacio Chiarino has been classified as a Bien de Interés Municipal since 1995 .
