The Palacio Ferreyra

The Palacio Ferreyra was built in 1916 by the French architect Ernst-Paul Sanson in Córdoba , Argentina . It is a testimony to the influence of the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris and the architecture of French classicism of the 17th and 18th centuries on the image of Argentine cities.

The Palacio Ferreyra was commissioned by Martín Ferreyra (1858–1918), who chose the Hôtel Kessler in Paris , which also dates from the early 20th century , as a model for the building . The engineer Carlos Agote was in charge of the technical management of the building, and the interior fittings were carried out by the Paris-based company Krieger. The park around the building was also designed by Carlos Thays based on the French model.
