The Palacio de Justicia de Santa Cruz de la Sierra , with a height of 100 m and 24 floors, is the second tallest skyscraper after the building of the Banco Central de Bolivia in Santa Cruz de la Sierra , Bolivia . It is also the seat of the Tribunal Departamental de Justicia , the court of the Department of Santa Cruz .
The building was built in 1996 and is located between Avenida de Uruguay and Avenida D'Orbigny near Plazuela del Estudiante. On December 15, 2007, the skyscraper was bombed, which caused considerable material damage but did not result in loss of life.
