history

The palace was built in the years 1860/61 by Wilhelm Grohs in the midst of a strictly historical residential complex opposite the Kaipark, which was laid out at the same time, and renovated in 1996.

description

The six-storey facade is dominated by a central bay extending over two storeys above the portal. The basket arch portal has a beautiful coat of arms keystone. Two volute consoles with lion heads support the bay window, which is decorated with fluted pilasters and blind balustrades. The blind balustrades also adorn the parapets of the windows on the piano nobile , which are closed at the top with a straight window canopy on consoles. The lion's head motif surrounded by floral motifs can also be found in the parapet fields on the floor above.
