Palace of the Winds is a historical novel by Mary M. Kaye from 1978 . It is a rendering of 19th century Indian history, illustrated by the fictional life story of the British officer Ashton Pelham-Martyn (precisely: Ashton Hilary Akhbar Pelham-Martyn , short: Ash ).
