The Palazzo Beltrami is a historic city ​​palace in Milan opposite the famous Teatro alla Scala .

History and architecture

The city palace was built between 1918 and 1927 on the site of the old Palazzo Casa Brambilla , completed in 1855 , which was also known as Palazzo Rosso because of its red terracotta decoration . The new building was built according to the plans of the Milanese architect Luca Beltrami . The city palace was built in the eclectic style on four floors. The Palazzo Beltrami was one of the first modern city palaces in Milan and was praised by critics primarily for its balanced proportions.

Today the Palazzo Beltrami is the seat of the financial accounting of the city of Milan.
