Palazzo Coletti

Palazzo Coletti is a palace in Venice in the Veneto region of Italy . It is located in the Cannaregio sestiere on the Fondamenta di Cannaregio along the Canal de Cannaregio opposite the Palazzo Testa .

history

The palace was built for the Coletti family in the 16th or 17th centuries . The ground floor was later modified.

description

The unusually broad, small palace has two full floors and a mezzanine floor under the roof. The facade is plastered and painted beige. On the ground floor there is a rectangular portal to the Fondamenta di Cannaregio in the middle and a square and a slightly larger rectangular single window to the left and right of it. On the main floor above there is a quadruple arched window with a protruding balcony, flanked by two pairs of individual arched windows. On the mezzanine floor under the roof sits a quadruple, square window, flanked by two pairs of individual windows. All rectangular windows have frames that, like the balcony, are made of Istrian limestone . The eaves , also made of this stone, is serrated.
