history

In 2004 the band was founded with an unchanging do-it-yourself attitude (“ put off today what you can do tomorrow ”). Davey Cane and Jon Russo continue to work persistently without following any guidelines or instructions from third parties to produce records and release them on their own label Random Acts of Vinyl .

In August 2004, the band's first single Tender Remains was released . This was followed by the 7 " Echo Of Me in September 2005 and Softly To Fallen in June 2006.

The first album No Hurt Like A Broken Heart was released in March 2007 . In October 2007 the most successful single I Start Fires to date was released. In the same month the very strictly limited 7 "vinyl single Blood and Water with the Australian Matt Sigley at the piano was recorded in recognition of the author Wolfgang Doebeling of the Rolling Stone magazine . There are only three copies of this one-sided version.

style

Palm Springs describe their world as acoustic, melancholic and slightly ramschig. In fact, her music is shaped by many influences. According to their own information, this includes u. a.
